Andy Salamon is a venture capital investor, technology entrepreneur, and service-disabled Veteran. He is a General Partner at Material, a venture capital fund and studio, uniquely focused on company creation. With Material, Andy has co-founded, invested in, and served as a board member with Suma Brands, Unlimited, Coldcart, and Level Company.
Prior to Material, Andy was a General Partner at Atomic, where he co-founded and invested in multiple, successful start-ups in the consumer, healthcare, and financial tech spaces, including: Hims and Hers Health (NYSE: HIMS), Bungalow, Raydiant, Rested, TalkIQ (Acq: Dialpad), and Terminal. Earlier in his career, Andy was a senior manager at Bridgewater Associates working with the firm's CIOs and executives in the areas of investment research and investor relations. Andy served as an officer in the United States Navy where he led small unit combat teams in Central America and the Middle East (Riverines).
He holds an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University and pursued an M.B.A. at Wharton before leaving to found one of his previous ventures.
