Cady is a student at the College of Arts and Sciences pursuing a double-major in Economics and English. She loves thinking about sustainability and business ethics: what role should businesses play in our lives, how can businesses create positive impact, and what is the right thing to do?
At Venture Lab, she leads the videography team and gets to combine her passions for storytelling, sustainability, and business through media projects. She’s currently producing a podcast which spotlights social entrepreneurship! Outside of Venture Lab, she is involved in the community as a Penn Abroad Leader, Penn Sustainability Eco-Representative, and Chinese Student Association Cultural Show Writer.
In the past, Cady has worked as a Consulting Intern at the Sasin Sustainability and Entrepreneurship Center in Bangkok, where she helped SMEs and large corporations merge their ESG and business strategies into one. This experience was actually supported by Venture Lab’s Summer of Impact Award. She’s volunteered for various causes such as women and children’s empowerment, climate change, and racial justice. Her short films have been selected by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and International Organization for Migration (IOM).
She’s excited about the startup ecosystem at Penn and helping students match their passions and goals with the many resources at Venture Lab.
