Join Venture Lab for a practical workshop on Design Thinking taking place Tuesday, January 30th, from 12:00PM- 1:30PM in Tangen Hall Room 706.
The Design Thinking for Entrepreneurs workshop will offer tools and guidance on how to integrate human-centered thinking into your entrepreneurial approach with an emphasis on social issues. This workshop is for students interested in entrepreneurship who are looking to channel their passion for impact into responsive solutions led by the needs of customers and beneficiaries.
The Empathy Map offered by the Center for Social Impact Strategy under the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice is a free-to-download tool that helps social entrepreneurs better understand the perspectives of key populations, and identify knowledge gaps to be further addressed through research, observation, and engagement with that population.
The Logic Model offered by the Center for Social Impact Strategy under the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice is a free-to-download tool that helps social entrepreneurs define a plan that is consistent, chronological, linear and important to internally increase the effectiveness of their work, and to externally increase their accountability to stakeholders outside the organization.
