Bikram Bakshi is the co-founder and CEO of ColoWatch, a healthcare technology company that offers a less invasive and more accurate approach to colorectal cancer screening. He is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur, best known for his leadership role in the successful construction of healthcare.gov, the U.S. health insurance marketplace established under the Affordable Care Act.
From 2012 to 2017, Bikram served on the Executive Leadership Team at UnitedHealth Group. During this period, he was also a member of the Office of the CEO at Optum, UnitedHealth Group’s global health services business. He led Optum’s Government business, overseeing federal and state engagements in the U.S., and served as CEO of Optum’s International business, managing operations across Europe, South America, Asia, and Australia.
Earlier in his career, Bikram was President and CEO of QSSI, a health technology firm that grew more than tenfold under his leadership and employed over 1,000 professionals. QSSI was acquired by UnitedHealth Group in 2012.
