Food Innovation 101: Katie Hagan WG'95, VP, Innovation, Mattson

As Vice President of Innovation at Mattson, Katie is responsible for leading client work across Mattson’s insights-to-commercialization continuum and for thought leadership in innovation strategy, with emphasis on CPG channels. Since joining Mattson in 2018, she had led projects for clients including Annie’s, Ocean Spray, Clover Sonoma, Zen Remedy, Biggby Coffee, KIND, Spice World, Bobbie Baby, Butterball, Cholula, Olam, Theo Chocolate, Splendid Spoon and Tyson. Katie is focused on developing new business opportunities and guiding clients through the new product development process from innovation roadmapping, to concept and product development, through commercialization. Katie works closely with Mattson’s team of food technologists, culinary, commercialization and regulatory experts.
