Matt Jacobson has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, digital media and mobile software and services.
Matt is the COO & CFO at Gravy (gravyanalytics.com), the leading provider of location intelligence for marketers. The companys AdmitOne engine verifies consumer attendances at millions of places, points-of-interest and local events, providing unprecedented visibility into the offline consumer journey. At Gravy, Matt leads all finance, operations and administrative functions and develops new business opportunities for the company.
Previously, Matt served as a Venture Partner and Senior Consultant at Acta Wireless where he led Actas mobile commerce and payments practice area helping clients understand emerging technologies and shifting market dynamics in order to develop new products, partnerships and strategies. Matt was also a Partner in LaunchBox Digital where he led all investment and portfolio management activities, and invested in and helped start 24 digital media and mobile businesses.
Earlier in his career, Matt served as CFO of a mobile advertising company. He was also Vice President at AOL where he led major strategic corporate initiatives and helped define and grow AOLs wireless and digital service businesses. Matt began his career as an M&A advisor with a number of investment banking firms including ABN AMRO, WR Hambrecht, Peter J. Solomon Co., and Toronto Dominion Securities.
He received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
