Join Venture Lab in Tangen Hall Room 708 on March19th from 5:00pm - 6:00pm ET to hear from experienced entrepreneurs about their own non-traditional pathways to founding their ventures.

This session would be relevant for students who are:
  • looking to found or join a venture after graduation or in their future careers, but do not envision an accessible pathway in their current academic trajectory.

Meet the Panelists:

Marisa Denker is the founder and CEO of Connect the Dots, a public engagement firm that originated from her Fulbright project in Ireland and later expanded to the U.S. Based in Philadelphia, the firm specializes in strategic, inclusive engagement processes for community-informed decision-making in large-scale planning, transportation, sustainability, and economic development. Marisa also teaches Participatory Studies as an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania.

Beau Wangtrakuldee is an innovator in health and safety, leading global impact with a technical approach. As the founder and CEO of AmorSui, she drives the medical supply industry’s shift toward sustainability, serving customers across three continents and partnering with major brands like Thermo Fisher Scientific and Benco Dental. Beau is dedicated to advocating for entrepreneurship, gender equity, inclusion, diversity, and circular innovation.

Subha Airan-Javia is a double board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics at Penn Medicine, and the founder of CatherineGives. As an Associate Professor and former Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer, she advances clinical informatics, quality improvement, and patient safety through innovative solutions.
