Philip Johnston is the Co-Founder and CEO of Starcloud, a company that is building data centers in space to address the AI energy challenge. Prior to founding Starcloud, Philip founded Opontia, which aggregated digital brands, raising over $50M in funding and hiring a team of 100. Philip was also previously a consultant with McKinsey & Company working on satellite projects with various national space agencies. Philip holds an MPA from Harvard University, an MBA from Wharton, an MA in Applied Mathematics & Theoretical Physics from Columbia University, and is a CFA Charterholder.
